What to Expect
Learn the Basics
Your Dive Professional will introduce you to the equipment and basic concepts you need to safely and comfortably experience scuba diving.
Get in the Water
You'll spend approximately 1.5 hours in the pool learning basic skills, becoming comfortable with the equipment, and experiencing what it feels like to breathe and move underwater.

Try SCUBA is an introductory experience and does not result in an Open Water SCUBA Diver certification. If you enjoy the experience, your next step is the SCUBA Diver course.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any previous SCUBA experience?
No. Try SCUBA is specifically designed for people with no previous scuba diving experience or certification.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You do not need to be an advanced swimmer, but you should be comfortable in the water and able to demonstrate basic swimming ability.
Do I need to own SCUBA equipment?
No. All SCUBA and snorkeling equipment required for the Try SCUBA experience is provided.
Will I be certified after Try SCUBA?
No. Try SCUBA is an introductory, non-certification experience. To become a certified diver, your next step is to complete a SCUBA Diver course followed by the required Open Water Certification Dives.
